Event Details

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

The ceremony and reception will be held in the Convention Center at Park MGM, located between the Starbucks and the pool. Upon entering, please take the escalators to the second floor and turn right to reach the Griffith Ballroom.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal (Dress to impress, but keep it comfortable! Suits or dress shirts and slacks for men, cocktail dresses or dressy outfits for women).

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive 15–30 minutes early to allow time to get settled before the ceremony starts.

What time will the reception end?

The reception ends at 10 PM.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be held indoors.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

As teachers, we kindly ask that you please put away your cellphones and AirPods during the ceremony, or we will use our teacher voices and send you to the main office.

When should we arrive?

We’d love for you to join us for The Night Before at Beerhaus on Monday evening (9/1 @ 8pm), so arriving by Monday afternoon is perfect.

Are there other events besides the wedding?

The day after will be Sun & Fun w/ the Newlyweds at the Park MGM pool.

Accommodations & Transportation

Is there a hotel block?

Unfortunately, MGM Resorts has complicated rules regarding hotel blocks. We recommend booking as soon as possible, as hotel rates will increase as the event approaches. For MGM Resorts bookings: The first night's deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date, unless otherwise specified by the booked offer (Be cautious of "Advanced Purchase").

Is there parking available at the venue?

We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to Park MGM, especially if you are staying at a different hotel.

Food & Drink

What will the food options be like?

There will be a variety of options during cocktail hour and the dinner reception.

Will there be a bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar that includes spirits, wines, beers, juices, soft drinks, and water.

Miscellaneous

Is there a registry?

Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all! However should you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution to our future adventures would be greatly appreciated.

Where can I bring or send gifts?

If you wish to send a gift, we kindly ask that you mail it to our home address, as it will be difficult for us to bring gifts back from Las Vegas.

Odds & Ends

Flying or Driving?

Most of the strip, including Park MGM now charges for self-parking and valet. If you are flying in, we highly recommend using Uber or Lyft as it is almost always cheaper than taking a taxi.

Bell Desk

If you are arriving early and your room is not yet ready, you can check-in your luggage at Park MGM (just be sure to tip the bellman).
